About Me

Currently in Virginia taking care of horses until March.

My life's goal is to travel the world as often and as far as possible :)

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Morocco and was very lucky to travel and experience many cultures. I've studied abroad and have a bachelor in History. I'm, currently working as an English teacher.I get to see interesting places and meet new people. Everywhere I go I love to go sightseeing, go to museums and take lots of pictures of: monuments, crazy buildings, breathtaking panoramas, old artifacts in exhibits, artworks and animals who hold still enough for a snapshot. I use to work for a TV production company so I like the process of creating and refining a visual artwork. I also use to be a flight attendant and I have traveled extensively. Paradoxically, I never thought of myself as sophisticated :) I like to enjoy the simple things in life.

PHILOSOPHY

I can't say it better than H.D Thoreau:
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel the world and go sightseing

Interests

History:I love to go to museums and historical sites
Philosophy: I love to have a good documented discussion among friends and learn a thing or two about life.
Walking endlessly through a foreign city, every time I travel I make sure I still get a little bit of a workout.
Yep when I'm home I love to workout: I mostly practice jiu jitsu and kickboxing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing coral reef dropping into the deep blue sea off Jabot (Marshall islands) an island where I lived and taught English for a year.
Scuba diving through the submerged part of Alexandria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I always had a particular curiosity for military history.
I have some references in Philosophy and I'm always open to add to them.
I have a Bachelor in History and I want to learn more about different countries and cultures, my favorite conversations!
I attended a short workshop in film making at the New York Film Academy, anything I can contribute/learn on the subject is truly appreciated.
I like to help around the kitchen.
I can help you practice your English.
I could teach you to be a flight attendant in about 24 hrs :)
