Hey ! I'm Pierre, a frenchie who lives in Paris and shows great interests for craft beers, football, music and cinema... all around the world.

I would describe muself as a calm, relax, open minded and curious guy who loves travelling and learn about different cultures.

That's actually the reason why I'm a CS member. I think this is a great way to discover new things, new places, meet new and different people, learn and share about ideas, know-hows, languages and/or cultures.

I also like the idea of helping each other without expecting anything in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I like the idea of meeting, helping or getting help with no other interest than sharing.

Every time I have hosted or been hosted by someone, it was a great meeting and a very satisfying experience.

I think CS is a great chance to connect with local people who want to share and show a bit of their life.

So here's what I do with my life: Every time I'm trying to enjoy all the beauty and pleasures life and earth may offer. And it's often through little things like nature, people, food, coffee, beer, books, movies, music... Or winning the world cup ! :)

I love Kusturica's movies (Underground, Time of the Gypsies, Life is a Miracle...), Gatlif's (Gadjo Dilo, Exils...), Boyle's (Trainspotting, The Beach) and of course Kubrick's (especially Barry Lyndon)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Brewed my own beer
- Slept in a hammock on a desert island
- Crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a cargo ship
- Experienced earthquakes in Lombok (would not recommend)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to complain about everything in French. Or I can also recommend you some good movies or music made by some of my compatriots.

I can also take you to a tour of the Parisian craft beer scene if you are a hop lover.
