Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Australia of Italian stock.
I lived 9 years in Japan (from 2000 - 2009). I studied Japanese, cultural arts, taught English, translated and interpreted and met my lovely wife.
Moved back to Melbourne to receive my formal teaching qualifications and work as a primary school teacher for 3 years near Melbourne.
My wife and I then moved to the outback and spent 2 years in the Australian desert teaching our amazing Indigenous.
We then travelled through the vast American continent! Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Colombia, El Salvador, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and the US. I finished the trip off with a bike ride from NY to LA, just for good measure!
We are quiet, mindful and calm people who enjoying visiting new places, exploring cities and countrysides, learning about places and people and eating lots of different foods.
My wife is an experienced Chef who would be happy to cook and love to share some of her culture with you! We love conversation, food, wine, beer and laughter. Be aware: We may ask the odd, profound, existential question at times.
I would also be happy to contribute some time cleaning, trimming, cutting or whatever you might need help with.
