About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience sounds and sights unimaginable!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 29 year old dude, born in Southern California, bred in the San Francisco, Bay area. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of English. My parents are from the Philippines. I was born in California. Which makes me somewhat of a twinkie (yellow on the outside...)
For some time now, music has played a vital role in the formation of my identity. Having been a dj since the year 2000, I have managed to nuture this passion into a skill which has brought me a good degree of success in the club/underground scene in San Francisco. Although I specialize in Electronic Dance Music (Minimal Techno, Tech-House, Deep House, Drum and Bass) I can be found playing sets of old-school hip-hop, wedding tunes/top 40/general party music.
I am a gay dude, too. Even at my age, I am still searching for what it means to be gay, and where my "place" in the world is. I have a small group of old, very diverse friends who I am endlessly devoted to. They are straight, gay, brown, yellow, white, traditional + non-conformist, hilarious and complex. They continue to inspire and challenge me to develop as a person... and isn't that what this whole thing is about?
PHILOSOPHY
1. Be kind.
2. Manners cost nothing.
3. Experiences over possessions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Newcomer here, interested in meeting and greeting folks from around planet earth. I find it easiest to relate to people from different cultures through food and music-- my tastes are fairly diverse, so the path of least resistance is talking about food... or music!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I have no experience through this website, (I hope to change that very soon!) I have crashed on many a couch in my day. For me as a veteran couchsurfer, respect is the highest priority. I give my hosts/guests the same respect I would give my family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a anglo-phile, at the top of my list would be my first visit to London. Just stepping off the plane was a surreal experience for me, as I had been anticipating it for many years. In particular, visiting the British Museum and viewing invaluble, centuries old, priceless pieces of art was a distinct thrill for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn more about Hinduism. India is definitely a point of interest for me, something I'm keen on learning more about.
