About Me

Hello! My name is Morten, i'm 24 and from Denmark. I recently moved from Horsens (my hometown) to Copenhagen for studying, and I just came back right now from Seoul, Korea after been living there six months as an exchange student. I love playing sports, football, tennis etc and I am also a very social guy, who enjoys cooking and enjoying my time with friends.
Beside this am I really a traveller, I love to see other cities and enjoy other cultures and my next plan is to go to Amsterdam, as I have heard so many wonderful things about that city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to open my house for others to let them see my culture and where I came from, and what kind of country Denmark is. This is the best way to really see a culture by actually meeting local people. On the same level do I really enjoy visiting other cities and not just go into tourist traps, but really see other cities through the eyes of local people. And then I also just love meeting new people! I am very down to earth and relaxed guy.

Interests

I have always been playing football since I was very little. Always at a amateur level, but I really enjoy to play - and watch it, especially Champions League.
I have always dreamed about becoming an entrepreneur, and that is why I chose to study economics in Copenhagen. Right now I have two projects, and it really fascinates and inspires me to build something on your own.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are the Harry Potter movies. I know its a cliché, but wow these movies really help shape my childhood, ha-ha.. And also the books that comes with them! :-D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I was in Vietnam with my bestfriend, where we bought two motorbikes and drove from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi in one month. And one day, my bike broke down and I was all alone, because my friend was meeting up with his girlfriend in another city. But during night time I found a karaoke bar and became so good friends with the people working there that they offered me to stay in their guest house and even helped repair my bike. This was such an awesome experience and really shows how big a difference hospitality makes for an individual, and vietnamese people are all soo friendly you should think they were all couchsurfers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my wisdom of travelling a lot, but mostly I can share my personality which is very openminded, happy, smiling and always with a good laughter. I bring positive energy and I am a good listener and really wants to connect with people :-)
