Hiya, I'm Morten ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm living with my boyfriend through 11+ years in Copenhagen. I used to live in London for 4 years.

Danes are notoriously cold and difficult to approach - but I'm not! I'm super extrovert and love meeting new people. I surround myself with inspiring, creative people from around the world. I spend my time with friends doing analogue things like playing board games and playing pong pong (I work in IT so I get to sit in front of enough screens every day). I occasionally enjoy some geeky Xbox time but if it's windy then I'd be out kitesurfing. I also run and exercise. And I'm a real sucker for great food! And outdoor activities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend did quite a lot of couchsurfing a while back and I have always wanted to do it myself - to be out there on my own. But it's just always more fun when you're with other people! I want to meet real people from authentic locations and have FUN.

So... Yay for Couchsurfing!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to slow electronica. Mostly without vocals. Examples of artists I'm really into right now (look them up on Soundcloud): Brunjolfur, N'to and Disko Dario. I also like classical music.

Movies: I'm not a huge movie geek. I like big epic movies and well-produced series. Currently enjoying Stranger Things

Books: I discovered fantasy a few years ago and since then I've been hooked on epics. I loved Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" series!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a full parachuting certificate. I had to literally climb under the wing of the plane and let myself drop. It just felt wrong. But also pretty awesome :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some fitness exercises, we can talk politics or I teach you how to do handstands (I'm not there yet myself but I know what to do to get there).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll cook some nice (Danish?) food for us. You won't regret it!

I'll take you through an exercise program. Or a 10K/20K run? I promise you'll break a sweat!

We can go for a hike somewhere in nature - maybe even camp overnight if you're up for it?
