Overview
About Me
I'm an easygoing guy, always interested in seeing new places and new faces. I love jazz, enjoy cooking, and I'm into fancy coffee preparation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to travel. I'm still sort of new, but I love it.
Interests
I cook food and bake bread as often as I can. (I make pretty decent pizza.) When the weather is nice I go cycling or hiking, almost always with my camera over my shoulder.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading authors such as Paul Auster, Richard Yates and Haruki Murakami. There are a bunch of others, but these are the ones I keep returning to. At the moment I'm reading Kerouac.
Some of the musicians I listen to: Johnny Cash, Bill Evans, Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, Tycho. Check out last.fm/user/Kragebein.
My favourite director is no doubt Jim Jarmusch. I love the pace of his films. Wes Anderson, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working on Lizard Island, Australia over the course of christmas and new year 2011/12. Some of the research from there is getting published now!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bake some pretty good bread, and I can teach you about photography if you're interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
