Overview
About Me
I teach for a living. I ride bikes, and run, and hike, and camp for fun. I have a wonderful daughter. I married the love of my life. I enjoy coffee and beer, good books and good conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in the couchsurfing philosophy. Fostering positive interactions between human beings is a valuable service. I love to meet and connect with new people and contribute to the greater human experience through it.
If you're ever passing through and need a place to crash, give me a shot.
Interests
I'm always interested in learning about parts of the world that I haven't explored yet, or sharing experiences about places I have. I love trying new foods, so if you make something unique, or can recommend a good place to try, I am certain to appreciate it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I try to listen at least one album I've never heard every week. My favorites include Elliot Smith, The Pixies, The Shins, Frank Zappa, etc. etc. I'll give anything a shot.
I like indie films, and watching cartoons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I followed my heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach math for a living, but I rarely have much to say about that at home. If you're interested, I'm more than happy to go on about it but I am well aware that this isn't likely.
I love to hear stories, and I have my own to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make good cup of coffee, I will buy you a nice six pack (if you drink beer), and I'll leave any space you share at least as neat as I found it.
