About Me

CURRENT MISSION

For the month of January I am a bonafide traveler. In February I begin my job hunt in Santiago de Chile. I will be teaching English as a foreign language either to adults or high school students. I plan on living in Chile for at least one year.

ABOUT ME

I am adventurous, enthusiastic, and open to new experiences. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures and experiences. I have never met someone I didn't learn something from. I live life in the now because I spent too much of my childhood living in the future. I love life, I'm grateful to be alive. I hope that my actions reflect this and make other's lives better, if only just a little. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Never take your life for granted. Don't ask for more than you need. Live your life for those who couldn't or can't live theirs. Don't be selfish. Be grateful. Love others more than yourself, even if its hard. And take some big deep breathes every day to remind yourself what it means to be alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in couchsurfing by sleeping on your couch! Or floor! Or whatever. Haha. I strive to make everyone's couchsurfing experience as good as mine are. I like to give back to those who host me by cooking or buying drinks! I hope to someday host people in my apartment in Santiago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have all together spent about a month couchsurfing. My first experiences were in southern chile where I ended up staying in one city 5 days longer than I had planned. I had such a good time that my agenda didn't really matter. I am still friends with many of those people and have even gone back to visit since. I recently stayed with a man who had never had surfers before so I did my best and think I succeeded in making his first experience a great one!
