About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make free cake a human right.. By travelling around the world. Not sure how, but I'm gonna do it!
ABOUT ME
All about me, huh?
Well, my name is Alex Lee Towns, I was born in California and lived there for 6 years before my parents decided to move across the Atlantic Ocean to Denmark. I've lived here ever since.
I'm a freak with history, philosophy and pretty much anything that'll make me think. Ancient history is my "specialty", and Ancient Greece and the ancient Roman Empire are some of my favorites.
I love traveling, although it's not something I get to do all that much, but I try to get out when I can!
PHILOSOPHY
Live life as if there is an afterlife.. If there isn't, no big whoop. But if there is, you've scored the jackpot! Besides, people like it better when they're treated nicely.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm not participating all too much, but I'll try my best.
In truth, I hope to be surfing when my school will allow it, and offering a couch when I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but I'm hoping to change that!
Interests
My primary study area is Ancient Greek/Latin, and I have flair for languages, and I'd love to learn more!
Of course, I love traveling and meeting new people and discovering new cultures. I prefer discovering the local community and culture opposed to common sightseeing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies, preferably.. Any movie..
I love music, I listen to a lot of stuff: Blues, rock, jazz, classical, electronic, heavy metal (oldies stuff), old pop, folk.. Pretty much anything! That Lady GaGa stuff doesn't appeal much to me though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stood atop a mountain 2.7 km above sea level in Norway.
Might not be that extreme, but hey, I'm 18, I have plenty of years to experience limits.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I'd be able to teach the basics of Latin grammar, conversational English, Danish and perhaps a little French with some luck.
Besides that, I know a lot about history, specifically ancient history, and I'm always open to discussions of any kind.
I'm interested to learn everything people can teach me! I'd love to learn about other peoples cultures and the habits and customs of other populations.

Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Sweden, United States
