ABOUT ME

At the moment I am on a half a year holiday break from my apprenticeship(!) which I gotta get back to in April next year. I am from Germany, born and bred in Berlin, but since the end of school in 03 I have always been trying to stay close to good surf.haha!! Last year I got the opportunity to start cheffing in Portugal; I stayed close to the water and thought I had a sweet deal, but I bloody underrated just how much time a a full time job takes... so now I a catching up on what I shouldda been doing all last year! Damn' its easy to be caught in a rat race..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lived 4 different countries in the last 5 years and I have always stayed in shared housing or appartments with sometimes an extra room, sometimes just an extra couch or tent available. But: When somebody really needed a place to stay, there was always a way! fo sho bro!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You know, this is the first time I am actually trying to find a couch over the internet-I am used to doing this a liiittle more old school-either staying at friends' or friends of friends' places, or just taking a tent wherever I go. I've had some pretty cold and wet and horrible nights in my time, but I've also surfed some great waves with not a whole lot of other guys out yet...:) worth it!

兴趣

I like hackey sackin, a bit of juggling, and any sports really, that'll make you feel good and exhausted!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went on a trip to my fathers county-the Sudan- in summer 2004. 300 kilometers out of the city and into the bush I had an amazing African experience. I heard the wild cats growel at night, a mere couple of feet from my bed, we passed zillions of straw hut villages on our treck south. And their camp fires at night turned the vast, isolated plains into a world of warmth and adventure. It was the first time anyone referred to me as a white man-that was an experience, I tell you... I was in my homelands, finally.
