CURRENT MISSION

My brother and I are currently on a tour of Europe. We have EuroRail train passes for just about the entire continent, but beyond that our budget is tight. Our mission is to see your country, buy you a drink, and sleep on your couch (and/or floor).

ABOUT ME

I try my best to be a good person. I have a genuine interest in understanding people, and I love to try new things. I give you my word that I'll be respectful of your property and will be easy to get along with during my stay.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm alive, and I'll continue to attempt to make the best of it. I always strive to make things better for myself and the people around me, and at the end of the day I live just to enjoy life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to have successful travels, both budget and experience-wise. If I can crash on your couch and leave you feeling glad that you offered, I will feel accomplished. When I return home I hope to give back to the CS community by hosting a place of my own for travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing. I didn't hear about it until half-way through my current trip through Europe, but I have yet to meet a single person with a negative thing to say about it. I'm excited to try it.

Interests

"Traveling" is kind of a given. My current long term education/career plan is to develop video games, which I also enjoy to play. Other than that I enjoy movies, live music, eating, drinking, and the company of people that like to laugh and have fun.

"Movies, Music, Books"... what, no video games? I like the band Talking Heads, and many others. Favorite movie might be Children of Men, and a good book I read once was The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know entirely too little about the world around me, but I'm trying to correct that! If I can make a trip across the ocean once in a while with an open mind, all I really know is that there's plenty to learn. Sometimes I might seek to dispel or understand stereo-types, or to compare cultural differences and analyze the historical reasons for them.
