Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current life mission is building sustainable communities around public space projects. Main focus lies in theater and urban farming.
ABOUT ME
Well I'm very introspective. Communicative - I like it when people open up together and allow for empathy and intimacy to spark. This sometimes arrives after a long while, but most times it only takes one conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
Compassion is the key. I believe we should spend our time here developing ourselves through experience and conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed for a while, and now that I have my own place I am happy to host.
Interests
Sustainabilty and ecology are bug in my life now. I take part in several urban-narture projects in my city, like planting an urban food forest and edible park in Tel Aviv. I'm quite into consciousness, awareness and social responsibility. Also I'm into technology, brain and cognitive science, and entrepreneurship. Also I'm into anthropology, acting and theater as a device for personal and communal change. Also I'm into vipassana meditation.
I really like music shows, especially on small stages in small clubs. I am getting more and more into cooking.
I'm hugely interested in the human mind, in our thoughts and feelings, the ways in which they emerge and transform. I'm an addict for examining human interactions and group dynamics.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classic american movies (1950's-1990's).
When it comes to music, the sheet is quite long. I'd say I listen to classical music, classic pop and rock music, a lot of Israeli music, electronic music (dubstep, industrial), nu soul, hip hop, turntableism and I guess there's more to it.
I read quite a lot, most of it Israeli literature (I'm very fond of Israeli culture and history) but not all of it. I love Milan Kundera and Erich Fromm. And Vonnegut and Feynman. And Houellebec. and probably some more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm the most Amazing thing I participated in I can't write here, but I think it is not more amazing than my volunteering. I've spent a year with children who where taken from their homes because of neglect, been with them almost 24/7, helped them in everything a parent would and played with them like a brother.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know quite a lot about Israel's history and culture. I can play the guitar, and I could teach someone that. Keep in mind it takes some practice.. :)
I could teach you how to play Backgammon, how to make hummus or Shakshooka.
