I grew up in the southern part of the United States living in Mississippi, Georgia and Texas. After moving around the South growing up, I landed at The Ohio State University for college (Go Bucks!), found a job right after and stayed in Columbus.

I recently moved away from Ohio and quit my cushy corporate job to travel. I just returned from South America and am planning my next adventure. I am very easy going, easy to talk to and easy to be with in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, have new experiences and explore the true culture of an area I'm visiting away from touristy spots and flashy hotels.

The locals tell the best stories and show you the best attractions - so, of course I want to couch surf!

Interests

I love sports (to watch and play); and I couldn't live a single day without coffee, smiling or writing words of some sort. I am also a big outdoorsy kind of girl. Hiking, biking, running, swimming, just to name a few, are my favorite hobbies. And of course, I love to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are nerdy non-fiction ones and they come in phases. My favorite movie is Forest Gump because as a kid my family and I watched it constantly on VHS. As for food, nothing compares to a home-cooked southern meal. I'm positive my Grandma makes the best fried chicken and pecan pie you have ever had in your entire life. And for music, I can handle almost anything unless I can't understand the words. Then, I don't consider it music. But, I will probably listen to anything live.
