Hey, I’m Mostafa, Egyptian, 33, working in banking and living in Cairo.
I’m passionate about solo travel, night walks, and real conversations with people who don’t pretend to be someone else.

I walk cities like I’m tracing emotions, not maps.
I find beauty in wrong turns, music in street noise, and meaning in random conversations .
Travel, for me, isn’t about movement, it’s about meeting the world without armor.

I’ve been on a personal mission lately, learning to unlearn.
For years I used to plan everything, every trip, every day, even my moods. But recently, I started doing the opposite , traveling spontaneously, inside and outside Egypt, with no strict plans. That’s when I truly started living.

Now I’m learning to enjoy moments as they are, without waiting for the perfect setting, song, or company. What’s not mine isn’t meant for me, and that’s perfectly okay. Peace, for me, comes from presence, not perfection.

I travel without maps sometimes, because some places only appear when you stop looking for them.

I believe Couchsurfing is about genuine connection, kindness, and shared energy, not just accommodation. If you enjoy deep talks, random laughs, or spontaneous walks through old streets, we’ll probably get along just fine.
