I generally go by the name Mostafa, but I respond to things like Mufasa, Mo, Michigan, Sasa, and a few others but I don't suppose this is what you came here looking for

As is the case with every couchsurfer and person on this planet, there are a few pros and cons to staying at my place, hosting me or generally enjoying the company of my ugly face (and beautiful soul) for a hangout

☑️ Good news goes first ☑️

- I teach little men and women, from primary to high school. One skill that I have found necessary for survival under those harsh conditions is listening well, so if you're a talker I would love to hear your stories. At least, they'll be a lot more interesting than "that one time I went with my mama and papa and little sister to the zoo and saw a lion that had no hair". It also means I appreciate some quiet time, if you're into that.

- Some would say I am, relatively, well educated and well-read. It kind of comes with the job and a few postgrads that I've had to withstand the pain of going through. One thing you can be sure of, is that I'll engage in any conversation within the spectrum of anything I am remotely interested in. If I know absolutely nothing about it, I'd most probably listen to learn something new (Review previous point on how good my listening is)

- I have been living near the beach for a couple of years now, which involves some kind of obsession about in-(quite literally)-water activities. Locals call it Scuba diving and that's a thing I'd most probably try to talk you into or join you for if you already are hooked.

- My big fluffy belly is a direct result of my love for all things food and drink. My cooking skills are boomingly rising by the day. That being said, I have a very well-equipped household when it comes to that sort of thing. You're free to consume and/or add to my collection whenever you're around.

❎ The not-so-good news ❎

- A few of my recipes (I lied, all of them) will absolutely ruin your diet plan, if that's a thing you believe in at all. Never was a big fan of doing the dishes, so those might pile up for a day or two before I have the will power to go through them. I would generally endulge in that not-so-pleasant process before they start stinking the house though. If you're a veggie, I genuinely respect your choice but my cooking skills have not developed enough to cater for your needs yet.

- My fridge magnet collection is still missing more than a few pieces. If you feel like adding to it, I will not be stopping you. This can be replaced with a recipe from home or a story about your culture and traditions.

- Been bringing the life to parties since 2008. While that may sound like a pro, you have to be warned that this curse haunts me everywhere I go. During your/my stay, there will most probably be a party where things will go wild. Maybe not too wild. Maybe not at all. I still need to wake up at 4 am to teach.

- I do have a life with a job, friends, pre-planned activities, emergencies and everything. You will most likely be very welcome to join any of those (not sure about school though, would you anyway?). While none of that is happening, I would love to show you around the city and spend time to get to know more about you.

A VERY BLUNT DISCLAIMER:

Kindly have the courtesy to not treat my house like your little hostel room. I might entrust you with a key but if I was into random people going in and out of the house without interaction with the receptionist (myself), I'd have it up on AirBnb and, at least, make some money out of it. Right?

Why not? This place has some of the most amazing (and parasitic) people I have met in my life. I still bet on my good faith in humanity and its kindness.
