Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me CS is the perfect place to cut right through all the tourism bullshit to seeing the place through a local's perspective and getting an authentic experience feeling of a local house in the place i am traveling. Im almost always searching for things that are not listed in travel books or even online, i am very grateful for so many hosts that have had such a great influence on my experience :)

Interests

I am struggling a lot to shortlist my always expanding range of interests.. some times i find it too overwhelming to manage my thoughts between all of the things i want to do and learn, but ill try to write some of the main ones:

-Photography, i aspire to be a photojournalist.. my main interest in photography is human-interest and lifestyle , documentary style and street photography.
-Music, i allow this addiction to take over my life.. being a musician and a dedicated listener makes my always excited to meet people who share the same passion.
-Trekking, surfing, camping, mountains, islands, being in nature and outdoors is very essential for me, i mostly like to stay away from cities.
-Hitchhiking, roadtrips, long motorbike trips i enjoy being on the road and the state of travel
-Sustainable communities and environmentalism, had the chance to volunteer in a few places where i could learn things about more sustainable living, upcycling and being more environmentally aware

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

70 km trekking in 2 days in the heat of Egyptian desert :D

drove 3600 km around vietnam on a motorbike (mostly alone) in 25 days.

Trekking Rinjani volcano in Lombok, Indonesia

Hitch-hiking in India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malasia and Egypt
