ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people. I played tennis and rugby in college, as well as chess and violin in high school. I recently finished a 1-yr Google fellowship and an international diplomacy fellowship. My brothers and I have a couple gourmet chicken wings dive restaurants in Kansas City, and I started Rise Fast (helping young professionals get promoted faster and single handedly impact the bottom line/mission of their company, non-profit or startup). Also run an accelerator for high growth non-tech companies, as well as LV8 where we help smaller businesses scale & solve hard problems like crime and education deficiencies. There's more, but you're probably about to fall asleep so I'll leave it there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet the absolute coolest people through couchsurfing. I find that it's a great way to make awesome friends quickly, and get an insider's perspective on a city. Everyone I've hosted so far (girls and guys) have been super cool/fun to hang out with, and I've learned a lot from them, so I figured I'd pick it back up now that I have a little more free time.

I travel a lot, so whereas I'm really good about responding to requests when I'm in town, I am not awesome at responding when traveling for my fellowships.

Kansas City is super spread out, so fortunately I'm pretty close to all of the attractions, night scene/popular bars & restaurants, museums and hangouts. I also live two blocks away from two of the main art museums in the city if you ever want to visit.

Interessen

Food! Also, tennis, reading, BBQ'ing, meeting new people and making great stories. But also food.

Lupe Fiasco's The Cool, Common's Finding Forever...so...pretty much anything.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I got to go inside the pyramids of Giza, and crawl through the path thieves dug all the way to the pharaoh's tomb...which was pretty awe inspiring. I also lived with a family in the Medina (old city) in Rabat, Morocco for a bit. Those are the first two things that come to mind at least.
