About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see parts of the country yet explored, and to meet cool people who live there! I hope to get lots of good pics along the way.
ABOUT ME
I consider myself an emerging adventurer. I have a lot to learn, but I am stepping out into the world around me, bit by bit. I have been motorcycling for several years and many miles, and I love taking pictures of the world around me. Photography is sometimes the sole purpose of my trip. Meaningful conversations over coffee or wine are my favorite pastime. I also like meeting new people and hearing their story and their backgrouond. Hopefully this site will be a place where I can do all of that!
PHILOSOPHY
I am amazed what we can accomplish when we consider the needs of others. That can take many forms, whether it be a brief moment, a group task, or a meaningful friendship. There is a component of faith to my life. It consumes my thoughts, my reflections, and my decisions. This faith encourages me to learn more about others, for both of our benefit, and not to try and convince them that my experience is any more valid than theirs. I hope that people come away from conversations with me having been entertained, listened to, and understood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am interested in both surfing and hosting. As a guest, I am primarily looking for a place to stay when I take motorcycle trips. These will usually be on the east cost or midwest. I am not expecting too much if you are willing to host me; just a place to sleep and recommended places to visit. But I am up for anything else you can offer that will help me experience your town! If you are interested in staying in Richmond, there are many places we could visit. There are several parks, riverside locations, great dining, and many historical sites. I would be more than happy to show you around for a day!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy movies quite a bit. I like dramas, action films, and comedies. Anything by Focus Features is worth watching at least once. If it causes me to think or makes me laugh, there is a good chance I will like it.Books stream through my life pretty regularly. I like non-fiction dealing with spirituality and philosophy, and pretty much any fiction that I find entertaining.Music is somewhat varied, but I do have my preferences. I like a lot of modern/indie rock, folk, and even some techno.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have photographed buildings that have been uninhabited for 50 years
