ABOUT ME

Like most couchsurfers I love to travel and have been in fact traveling a lot lately. I would be happy to get to know some other couchsurfers and to meet for a coffee or a drink.
It's always great to get to know new people from everywhere around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positiv! I've met many incredibly nice people trough couchsurfing in europe and asia so far.

Interests

Well, I'm interessted in quite a few things.
Books, Music - listening and playing- , Arts, History...
But my big love is the sea. i don't mean lying at the beach and getting sunburnd - i always get sunburns - but being on a ship and sailing over the ocean without seeing any land for days.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite is probably "the time traveler's wife". Followed by all sorts of (sea-)adventure stories, for example Jack London's sea wolf or Jule Verne's 20.000 leagues under the sea.
But there are many stiles of books and authors I enjoy. Simon Beckett, Bukowski, Sartre, Camus, Sir A.C. Doyle... and not to forget Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt's Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran.

In terms of music, my preferences depend very much from the mood i'm in. from punk, rock, to acoustic and electronic to classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There were lots of amazing moments in the past Year so it's hard to pick...but I'd say the no. 1 was probably making all the way, 6 long weeks, from Antwerp to Singapore working on a Containership.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Namibia, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United Kingdom
