We are currently on a year long trek around the globe and are thrilled to meet locals, learn about new cultures, try new foods and let our curiousity guide us!!

ABOUT ME

About Colin:
I'm a scribbler. Find a fondness with spicy food and mustard. Sometimes shower. Sometimes don't -- Depends on the state of things around me. Believe someone else has produced every original idea I have ever had immediately after I've finished thinking about it. Grew up in Kansas City, a product of suburbia and with extraneous amounts of spare time grew a fascination towards digital mediums because of there abilities to augment reality. Classically trained on the piano and trumpet, I remain passionate about music with a deep interest in its visual representation. I hope that one day a floating plasama-like substance will exist allowing me to create and display a visual controlled through music. I currently live and work in NYC where I have served clients such as Pepsi, Dell, Nintendo, Motorola, Swatch, HBO, SciFi, GE, MTV, USA, Renault, and CBS.

About Alix:
I am a very outgoing, super positive and affectionate girl who aims to get the best out of every experience. I make it a priority to find the good in all situations and people I encounter. I love to travel and believe travel is the best education one can receive. I am a freelance fashion designer in NYC mainly so I can travel whenever the bug is itching. I hold my friends and family very dear to me. I am goofy and seem to have neverending energy. I enjoy being out on the town and throw a helluva good party, but I also relish chillin' out and reading a good book.

So far we have just been on the surfing end of things as we travel, but we look forward to hosting people once we return to Brooklyn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been fantastic! We've met some beautiful people, shared many new experiences, traded music, books and movies, learned to cook local dishes and all while having solid places to stay.
