Hello, I am Mo, you can also call me Carlos (which is on my passport too). This about me is somewhat strange to fill in,
What can I say.
Well as I said I am Mo I live in a smallish town Maldegem in Belgium (born and bred :-) in a modest house with my girlfriend.
Mostly as a mechanic I work on location which means I sleep a lot in hotels B&B's and sometimes with guest families. Also one of my closest friends Mattias Van Overschelde (he said i could reference him) who hosted many many people from many different countries via this site and on firsthand experienced I have met a lot of his couch-surfing guests he had almost no bad experience thus far. So since Mattias convinced me to try this. Here it is: I would like to take part in this wonderfull way of traveling, meeting new people with diverse viewpoints and lifestyles and offcourse do the same for any other trustworthy person asking for a bed to sleep in, a hot plate maybe a beer, even if you would like to see the highlights of Maldegem I could give you the 20 min tour ending in my favorite bar. (which has over 100 great beers, 100 other great ones but I dont like them) All I am saying I will return the favor to other kind like-minded people. Also if our work schedules align my partner would obviously travel with me (if she wants ;-)).
Well this is it any other thing you can ask me in person if you would please allow us to come meet you and have a great time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I have explained in the "about me" column my friend Mattias Van Overschelde is an avid couchsurfer he has had (mostly) very good to fantastic experiences with the couchsurfing culture (receiving guests and being a guest himself) I've met a lot of his guests and most of them where very interesting and genuinely nice people to hang out with from many different background. I would like to be a part of this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorites... I love metal music (any kind) cartoons like the simpsons, american dad, archer, ... I used to watch a lot of series but since real adulthood I simple don't have the time to really follow a long running series. That is except game of thrones (even tho I hated the series as they started to change the story in comparison with the books),
In my opinion it is a bit overrated (I dont want to start anything or aggravate anyone with this hear me out) there are many, many great shows. Like; Dexter (I rewatched it last month), Band of brothers (classic but a masterpiece or should I say masterpieces!). It doesn't even has to be expensive to film I loved The Office which at some point I looked forward to the new season as I do now for the final game of thrones season. :-) (I know sometimes I am strange)

For books I like anything that is well written and with a great story, I prefer fantasy, detectives and autobiographies from artists but I can admit when I lived with my parents sometimes I would take some romantic rose-colored perfect world books from the pile of books she wants to read and even enjoyed a few of them, some (not many most are predictable) actually have a interesting and original story.
