Overview
About Me
Shosha:
I am born and grew up in Holland.
On the age of seven I started my first biking adventures with my father, brother and sisters. Ever since I feel a strong relation with the bike. It gives me a sense of freedom, and it feels as an honest relation with nature, while I travel to discover places and people.
Since 2010 I am based in Brussels, where I explore movement, working as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. In the past years I developed my own method where movement, drawing, meditation and emancipation come together.
Parallel to this life in Brussels, rich in dance and its cultural community, I desired to make a transition towards a life in, and with, nature. In the search for this, a nomadic life started.
Pierre:
I am born and grew up in France. I studied fine arts and started to practice dance. After my studies, I chose to move to Brussels to renovate an old garage into a space to life, following my fantasies. For many years, my bikes, where my best friends in the city and to work with. In 2017, the bike became a symbol to a new relation with life: going slower, being available, ‘living light’.
The garage, that became ‘Garage Palace’ became a trampoline to continue the research: where and how do I want to life?
We – our travels and transition:
In 2017 we jumped for 6 months on our bikes to ‘zigzag’ in France looking for a place to live with nature, or to support ecological projects.
In 2018 we chose to see the other side of the big ocean. And after a year of traveling, and working on eco-farms, in South America, we found our place in Chili, Patagonia. There we will give our time and energy to create a future home and a food forest, to create a sustainable place where we (and others) can live in harmony with the earth.
