About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Save enough money for a sailing boat.

ABOUT ME

I'm a warm, always smiling, energetic character, who's constantly looking for new ways to have fun.

I studied art, sociology and english literature for a level but never did the whole uni thing. Well... for a term, but it was all too much too soon and the course made me hate the one thing I've ever been any good at. I'm not ready for more formal education.

After running away to Leeds and Oxford I now live in Bath with my partner and growing bump.

PHILOSOPHY

I have some rather unorthodox beliefs. I can't deal with going through life without the belief that there's some kind of mystical undertone. Even if it's all rubbish it makes the world seem more exciting - and excitement is what I seek! I've never really cared too much about a career although a little bit of cash is handy! I just want to never have to worry and have plenty of fun along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer friendship and good times!

Interests

I love creating music. If I'm not singing I'm playing guitar, mandolin or flute. Also attempting the musical saw and xaphoon. I also love cooking so you never know... I may cook you up a special treat! Chatting over drinks at the local is always fun too as well as BBQs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Some of my favourite films include Shortbus, Igby Goes Down, Labyrinth, Girl Interrupted, Little Miss Sunshine, Napolean Dynamite, Secretary, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sophie's Choice and Pan's Labyrinth.

Music - I have too many favourite bands but I've been recently listening to CocoRosie, Voxtrot, The Crimea, Enon, Grandaddy, Joanna Newsom and The Decemberists.

The all time classic artists would have to be the likes of David Bowie and The Kinks. I'm also a sucker for the 60's music my Dad played to me as a kid such as The Small Faces and English beat groups like The Fortunes.

Books - I loved The Yellow Wallpaper, Wide Sargasso Sea, The Wasp Factory, The L-Shaped Room, Regeneration, Unless and anything by Brian Patten, especially Love Poems - absolute legend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play you my tunes and offer my guitar playing skills.
