ABOUT ME

What to say....I am a 23 year old American who currently just graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in International Relations. I´m a very laid back person who enjoys discussing politics, music and history. My main passion is my drums which I have been playing for about 7 years althoguh I am not in any serious band at the moment. I have a very open mind and always enjoy learning new things to broaden my world view.

PHILOSOPHY

The Golden Rule: Do onto others as you would like them to do onto you and always, always keep an open mind. There is too many ideals, cultures, thoughts in the world to keep your mind closed off. You can always learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now I am traveling Europe with my girlfriend Alicia and we both would enjoy using couchsurfing to meet people from different places and learn about the culture through them. Once back in California I hope to host others I meet along the journey and provide them with the same accomodation as they provided me. My main goal using couchsurfing is to meet new people and learn through them while traveling on a small budget.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have NONE. But so far have met a lot of cool people through hostels that tell me couchsurfing is the way to go. Help me broaden my couchsurfing horizon!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. A few authors: Jack Kerouac, Kurt Vonnegut, Mark Twain...Directors: Martin Scorcesse, Quentin Taratino, Francis Coppola, Alfred Hitchcock, (recently)Christopher Nolan....Music:60´s rock,indie, hip hop (preferrably east coast) some metal, recently been lectured on drum n bass, dub step, and have enjoyed it. I have a very open mind when it comes to music, I like pretty much everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I traveled in Northern Spain near a small town called Boñar. I stayed on a small piece of land near the mountains with my girlfriend and another Bulgarian couple who were mountain climbers and we helped collect logs from the surrounding forest to help build a natural "roundhouse" while also maintaining a small garden. I had an amazing time and learned a lot about all sorts of things from cooking to building. I hope to do a lot more of these kinds of things in the future....

Teach, Learn, Share

I have basic cooking skills and really enjoy doing it. I would love to learn all types of cooking while I travel. Musically I would enjoy to play or teach people basic drum knowledge while learning of other musical styles especially in percussion. I like to discuss american politics and history while also learning about other countries politics and historical past. I have a very open mind about these things especially politics and love to get all different points of view about the world.
