About Me
ABOUT ME
I'll admit I have hippy tendencies, but I am slowly melding into the professional/functional human being the world expects me to be (whether I like it or not). I'm quite chill.
I have two brothers, two parents, and a turtle. I'm vegetarian and find refuge in subtle sarcasm. I am a musicphile, and in addition to frequently scouring the web for new bands, I play a bit myself.
I'm a staunch environmentalist who enjoys being in work settings that foster development of sustainable environmental solutions, learning about earth systems, and spending time in nature as much as possible.
I fight the urge to remain a complete homebody by going out for drinks and trying interesting local restaurants with friends, but cuddling up with a blanket and a cup of tea while watching a movie is the perfect night in my book. That and roaming the grounds of a music festival.
People often try to label me in one category or another. They all eventually quit, and end up labeling me just Michelle. We should meet :]
PHILOSOPHY
The desire for convenience is ultimately, incidentally, the root of much evil.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing couches, meeting great people, recommending the site to countless friends. I hope to be more involved in the local CS chapter (Sacramento), and look forward to the day that I can finally host surfers of my own!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing through Europe was bliss. I have met a lifelong friend or two through this site.

I'd love someone to teach me some cool guitar tricks as I am a beginner on that front. Also, Arabic.
