I'm a guy who loves to learn about other cultures, countries, language, etc. I also enjoy to show what Mexico is to foreign people. I like to talk a lot and to listen too, to read, to watch TV and to share time with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some people but not because of Couchsurfing. I have hosted some friends that I made during my trips and also some exchange's participants from my language club. So far I have hosted people from Slovenia, Germany, Argentina and Japan.

Interests

I like to learn more about other cultures and languages. I collect fridge magnets, flags and postcards from the places I've visited and the places where my friends send me something.
I enjoy watching sports, NFL, soccer and rugby being my favorites.
I like to taste new food, no matter if it looks strange to Mexican's standards.
Also I watch some TV shows such as Friends, How I Met Your Mother, etc.
On my free weekends I like to learn new languages and visit museums.
My friends are very important for me, I always like to talk with them and know what's happening in their countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pink Floyd, The Beatles,Queen, Rolling Stones, Muse, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Metallica, Santana, Megadeth...
Books: 100 years of solitude, love in the times of cholera, Harry Potter saga (I collect the first book, The Philosopher's Stone in different languages), The Lord of the Rings saga, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) saga, all the books written by Valerio Massimo Manfredi and Taylor Caldwell.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share Mexican culture: food, music, literature, even YouTube clips. Also I think I'm a good tourist guide since I have read a lot of Mexican history and I love to transmit all that knowledge to other people.

And about learning. I'm open to everything. If you want to cook your traditional food, be sure that I will taste it. I would love to learn some words/expressions in your language too.
