Overview
About Me
I’m a Sudanese engineer, traveler, visual artist, art producer, and actor. I’m an active member in several art groups and initiatives. I also present cinematic content on a Facebook show.
I'm a member of Al-Mustaqbal Group—a youth group that organizes professional festivals, cultural events, and art exhibitions. I’m the founder and director of an initiative that screens films in rural sports and cultural clubs across Sudan.
I work as the cultural projects manager at Aidina Lilbalad Group in Omdurman. I’ve volunteered as a coordinator in the Khartoum Mobile Cinema Festival, the Khartoum Arab Film Festival, and the Identity Exhibition that took place in Omdurman during the war in 2024.
In 2019, I was one of three travelers who cycled through eight Sudanese states over forty days. At the end of 2022, I produced a documentary film about this journey called "Sidari."
I’m also a Sudanese photographer and documentarian, passionate about capturing the beauty of daily life—even in the harshest conditions. I lived through the war in Omdurman and documented it through photos and videos, with a deep visual sense and a strong desire to preserve moments that speak to memory and emotion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I believe you can’t truly know the world from above—you have to walk its streets, sleep in its homes, and hear people’s stories straight from their mouths.
I love being close to people, to their everyday details—their cooking, their laughter, even their quiet struggles.
This platform opens windows that wouldn’t open otherwise. It lets me see cities not just as places, but as beating hearts.
I don’t travel just to escape—I travel to learn, to document, and to share the journey.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a diverse taste in music. I enjoy calm sounds that take me to different worlds, like jazz and blues.
I also love traditional Sudanese music because it tells the stories of the land and people with honesty and emotion.
Sometimes, I listen to modern world music, especially the kind that blends different cultures, because it opens new horizons and makes me feel connected to everyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best things I have done was my bicycle trip through eight Sudanese states in forty days. This trip was not just a physical challenge, but a true journey of discovery—of people, places, and myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love being part of projects that make a real difference—initiatives that break barriers and open windows. Through traveling, photography, festivals, and even cycling, I try to bring people closer and capture their stories
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don’t just offer a place to sleep, but a real experience. With me, guests become part of daily life. We share stories, cultures, and sometimes meals from Sudanese cooking.
