About Me

Update (09/07/15):

This profile has been dormant for about 12 months, hence the woeful 8% response rate. I am now (potentially) able to host people again.

CURRENT MISSION

Live better, help often, wonder more

ABOUT ME

Philosophy postgrad living in trendy east London with two people that have actual jobs. Did some CSing around 'Murica over summer and now that I'm settled into this flat I'd like to offer the opportunity to have some people come and stay here for banter, entertainment and adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

Actual philosophy I subscribe to:

The aim of morality is to bring about the greatest good for the greatest number.

The only freedom which deserves the name, is that of each individual pursuing his own good in his own way.

I promise I'm much more fun that those quotations would lead you to believe.

Currently hosting. Will probably surf over in summer '14

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - occasional, not a massive cinema-goer

Music - pop and indy typically, but also classical and country occasionally.

Book - mostly geeky non-fiction books relating to politics and policy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping in South Africa, trekking through the jungle in Central America and scuba diving in Egypt are recent highlights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share lots of intellectual things. I'm interested to learn about the same, but am also very curious to learn new things generally.
