Overview
About Me
My name is Max. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. I am studying Marketing at the Ukrainian Catholic University.
Currently, I am staying in Salamanca for a semester — thanks to Erasmus+.
To me, travelling is an excellent way of connecting with people culturally, and I am fond of establishing new acquaintances and friends from all over the world.
I love humour and basically am a hipster in the flesh xP
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to explore the world as much as I can. Apart from that, I love meeting new people who can share a part of their culture and maybe even teach something interesting.
In return, I would do my best to do the same regarding my homeland and places I have been to. I have a plenty of stories to tell and have collected some hobbies, too :)
Interests
I play most types of guitars and a tiny bit of a piano, enjoy cycling, longboarding, restoring old cars with my buddies (owning two rust buckets at the moment), film photography, and playing basketball.
In my spare time, I prefer playing video games with my friends, have long walks around the city (while listening to music and taking photos of people and architecture). And to be inspired by everything possible. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite bands are SRV and the Double Trouble, Audioslave, Morphine, Queens of the Stone Age, Kaytranada, Tyler, The Creator, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Death Grips, and BADBADNOTGOOD. These are just a few — actually, I love to listen to most types of music, regardless of recency or genre.
Favorite movies are The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, The Good, The Bad The Ugly, and The Groundhog Day.
Favourite authors – Orwell, Bradbury, Defoe, and Camus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tough to choose – perhaps a 1,300 km hitchhiking trip without any company.
Still, I am sure that amazing things happen that frequently some of us may get used to it :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Few chords or probably even songs on the guitar?
How to shoot with a film camera?
How to tell which car make your taxi driver will pick you in?
I guess we'll sort something out!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can hold a conversation on a variety of topics, along with the variety of activities to perform. Not only that, I enjoy photography and can make you a couple portraits on film :)
