I am not someone who has one specific passion. I have a basket full of interests and enjoy adding to my collection.

I am quite active and adore the outdoors/nature. Therefore, my primary hobbies are surfing, snowboarding, yoga and any sport that allows me to "play in the dirt".

I much prefer going to a street festival, dancing or seeing live music than just sitting at a bar. On the other hand, there are moments in life when a palatable, stiff drink and a great friend/conversation are ideal

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a "member" of Couchsurfing since 2011; however, I have yet to engage/participate with/in the community (I'm writing my profile in Nov 2017). I was recently reminded of a conclusion, which I've known for years - there are a lot of great, fun and interesting people (e.g. you) in this world. And, one of my life's greatest opportunities is to form relationships with, learn from and enhance the lives of these individuals.
