About Me
CURRENT MISSION
learn new things and discover the earth. job can wait.... alone or not we have to see and experience what we have so we can appreciate and preserve it.
ABOUT ME
I am a calm person. I like nature very much. but i also appreciate modern technic devices and an urban surrounding. it varies. I definitely love to travel as much as I can afford to. And I love languages, I want to speek them all. i can be easily on my own, but in general i like having company. sometimes people say i am a rather serious person which is probably true. still i can be really funny and i like to think that i have a great deal of humor which is one of the richest and most important character traits a human being can have.
another thing i learned is that as uncomfortable as it might be, avoiding problems only makes it worse and you can only learn and grow through facing them. Like Randy Pausch once said: "the obstacles are there to hold back the others. if you want the price you need to overcome them yourself."
PHILOSOPHY
peace is the most valuable thing we have. war is not an option. in order to preserve this planet for future generations some things have to change. and violence is one of them.
"The cause of freedom is not the cause of a race or a sect, a party or a class -- it is the cause of humankind, the very birthright of humanity." -- Anna Julia Cooper

Music, Movies, and Books
I like imaginative movies and books. things like "Die unendliche Geschichte" (The neverending story) by Michael Ende, "Max und Moritz" by Wilhelm Busch or "Drachenläufer" (the Kiterunner) by Khaled Hosseini.
"99 francs" is a good movie as well as "la haine"(the hatred by Mathieu Kassovitz) or "into the wild". And I am inevitably a child of the Harry Potter generation.
My favorite music to listen to is probably everything from Armin van Buuren via Rammstein to Mozart. I love acapella music like the kings singers or the kings college choir. I love classical music especially Georg Friedrich Haendel or Monteverdi. to dance or to party to i prefer electro, mostly european minimal, Drum n Base or dubsteb.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The forbidden city in Beijing, biking the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and seeing clownfish at the coral reefs of the Fiji Islands and wreck-diving on Majorca.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open to everything. i was told i am a good cook and i like doing it so that is always a great way of sharing or saying thanks to somebody (or even more ). i like very much to sing. there are so many traditional folk songs from all over the world and many of them are about to be forgotten because nobody sings them anymore. furthermore i like photography and i know a lot about food, computers and cars and a little bit about everything. but my favorites are the languages.
