Overview
About Me
I grew up in the south-west of Turkey where Aegean sea meets sand and mountains to create the most beautiful form of nature (I would love to take you there sometime). It is also where the ancient Aegean civilizations built their buildings and theaters, of which now we have the ruins. I spent my childhood looking at the ruins, reading its histories and thinking about the past civilizations, also how they shaped the future and what lessons we should take out of all these.
Later I moved to Istanbul city for college and I enrolled at Bogazici University to study business administration. However, after one year I took a gap year and moved to Shanghai city to broaden my perspective as well as to learn Mandarin. I had had amazing times in China and became fluent in Chinese. After the gap year, I came back to Istanbul to finish my bachelor.
Now I am about to be graduated in Jan '19 and planning to move to the US, probably in New York City, the city I love the most and where I believe I will be meeting the most interesting, intellectual and lovely people in my life.
I am an open-minded person who likes discovering new cultures, getting to know new people and tasting new food. Yes, I love food as much as I love working out, which is actually the basic reason why I keep on it, to be able to eat more food. I like cooking too and I will surely be cooking some popular Turkish food for my host, I do promise!
I love traveling and the people who I meet while traveling are precious and exclusive for me because they are being part of an unforgettable memory. I value the memories. Let's make more.
I love books as well, or more generally the ideas. Any idea that contributes to the way of understanding how the things work in the world and in our lives is welcomed and appreciated. I can listen to you till the next morning while having a conversation on ideas.
I am looking forward to getting to know your culture, hearing your ideas and meeting you, either my future host or guest!

I love doing and trying any kind of sports activities. What I generally do is working out at a gym, running and swimming. Also, like to play basketball, going hiking and trekking occasionally. I like wandering in the streets of an old city and just admiring its beauty.
