I am a retired United Airlines Pilot.
I have a large home on the 10th hole of a beautiful public golf course.
with plenty of space, fireplace, 2 extra bed rooms, double beds and private bathrooms for each bathroom, presently working on a solar heater for my swimming pool. I am just 8 minutes from IAH Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The 3rd. largest airport in America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always enjoyed the kindredship of other travelers in youth hostels and this seems like a likewise forum.
I need to reciprocate to others as I would like to have couch accommodations as well in my frequent travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the pressurized twin engine aircraft off autopilot went to the back of the airplane and took photographs of illegally blind high school boy would never be able to even drive a car...
I had him flying when he told me he could see the light difference between sky and the ground giving him a horizon which he could turn the aircraft about in circles, climb, and descend.. it was just too amazing, but of course I did do the landing that day.
