About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find the right time for the right things to do

ABOUT ME

I love music. I play the trumpet and try the guitar and the piano from time to time (which is not very often currently) and I sing in a choir. My most recent discovery is Lindy Hop - a great dance with an amazing energy and uplifting swing music! I also really enjoy sports, finding similarities in our languages, travelling and discussing important topics like Monty Python and the funniest joke in the world. I try to always have a positive look at things, to be active, respectful, and not have too many prejudices.
At present I'm working in two jobs + freelance and pursuing my hobbies during work day evenings. So my week is somewhat flexible, but still quite busy. But for the right things you can always find a little time of which you didn't even know it was there...

PHILOSOPHY

The music is everywhere - you just have to listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time, I surfed in the United States for a month in 2008, which was a brilliant experience! From 2009 on I've hosted some great folks in Germersheim. Since 2011 I've mostly participated in or created some CS events (Ultimate Frisbee) in and around Riga, but occasionally could host some people as well.

Interests

For me, football will never be called soccer (because https://youtu.be/BqSHFEKa3VQ?t=54s), but for the sake of the tags I'm leaving it in the list.
