ABOUT ME

I don't like to talk about me that much, i prefer that people meet me, and make their own opinion themselves. But, since in couchsurfing we have to firs meet on internet, then I should say some things which can maybe help you form your opinion on me, since I'll be your host or guest.

Love nature, mountains, wildlife and mountain climbing. I am very interested in seeing new places, meeting new people and exploring other cultures.

As the time passes people are becoming the more and more important reason of my travel. I also love to adopt to customs of the country and the host, that way I can meet both country and people better.

I am an engineer, and the area of my interest is signal processing/pattern recognition. Stuff like image processing, recognizing things in images, voice recognition and similar.
Also, i work as a jazz journalist, for a website http://www.jazzin.rs/

Besides that, I really have wide range of interests, arts, architecture, mathematics, literature, philosophy are some of dear areas to me.

Interests

A bit of this, a bit of that :) Really, I like a lot of stuff, music, movies, art, nature, travelling, science, and I've done a lot of things/project from in a lot of different areas.

Meeting interesting people. Nothing good as a good conversation, especially if there is some beer with that. Or tea, because I am also a big tea lover, and those are my two favorite drinks.

Travelling, adventure, and new interesting experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I am mostly fan of the movies which talk about ordinary people and their lives, or the movies who put a put a different perspective on things. I like both new and older(black and wite) movies. Some of directors I like: Tarantino, Jarmush, Tarkovski, Kurosawa, Kubrick...

I really like a lot of different movies, just to name a few dear ones: Dogville, The Island(Ostrov), Ghost Dog, Night on Earth, Rashomon, Pi, The Return, Werkmeister Harmonies, Der Letzte Mann, Shadows of Our Forgoten Ancestors, Harakiri, The White Ribbon, The Hunt (Jagten), 12 Angry Man,and the list goes on forever
