我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and seeing as many places as possible/gather as many different insights in the world we live in. As I am a student and consequently on a tight budget, Couchsurfing is a good way to achieve these goals, given my current status.

兴趣

My biggest passion is Music. I love playing/listening to/living music.
I am a drummer/percussion and currently play in a brass band in Linz/Austria (my hometown). I like jamming with friends and if there is a guitar/bass/piano in the room, you can be sure that I will seize it, and not let go of it for the entire night ;)

It is truly hard for me to name my favourite band. If it were a matter of life or death I think I would go for Led Zeppelin. I started listening to Classic Rock when I was about 13 and my musical taste has evolved ever since.
I like to listen to a nice Jazz Quartett with a bottle of wine as much as I enjoy being in a crowd of 40.000 people and raving to drum and bass. As an Austrian, I have to be a fan of classical music so a Mozart Opera or a Schubert Piano Sonata are always ways to get my attention.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did an exchange semester at the University of Illinois. This was the best time of my life and I ended this amazing experience with a 4 week roadtrip through the east United States with my best Austrian pals. We went and saw so many good music places which I can tell you all about :)

I can share some good stories about my past travelling experience. I am a good musician and open for anything, be it going out into a club/disco/bar or going to a museum/classical concert/sightseeing tour.
