Hello EVERYONE!!! I am from Australia - I am of Italian and Polish background - but home is Melbourne!I love travelling, smiling and meeting folk from around the world, thus you have found me on this site... Currently I am travelling around South America, looking for new experiences, learning new languages and dancing dancing dancing.

The best I can do now is exchange stories, ideas and smiles.Unfortunately i don't have a couch yet. But when i do, by jove it'll be available to all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with lots of CS people in Milan. Surfed on some couches - LOTS OF FUN. It was great making friends and meeting like-minded people.

My first experience was the best though and totally unplanned. i was in Bulgaria for a night and a couch surfer put me up. I was very lucky because I met her on a train that arrived in Sofia at midnight and I didn't have any accommodation booked.
She was nice enough to say I could stay with her.... from that day forth I have always had big respect for pro couch surfer folk.

Favourite movies - Lawrence of Arabia; Desperado; the good, the bad and the ugly; aladin

Music - lots, lots, lots. Currently the greatest hits of Cab Calloway is getting a lot of playtime in my life... but I do like a lot of world music and rock.

Books - Seven pillars of Wisdom is also a very nice book (but a bit challenge to read);
Anything by Jack Vance; Italo Calvino; Alan Furst; Jim Butcher (love Dresden Files)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in Wadi Rum.
Climbed Uluru, yes I know it is culturally wrong, but I did it many years ago and I'll never forget the experience, the view and the rock.
Camped at Arkaroola.
Been to Petra.
Came second in a Fencing tournament.
