About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To complete my "list of things to do before I...", explore the world, and be satisfied when I look back on it all.

ABOUT ME

I strongly believe in a good balance in life- I work hard and play hard and I realize that all experiences are opportunities to learn and grow. I’m trying to follow my adventurous heart and I hope to do something entrepreneurial one day. I love beer, parties, shows, gatherings, electronic music, meeting interesting people, singing, and having great conversations. I also love all types of food.

I’m trying to be a student of the world, learning from experience and valuing wisdom and personal betterment as the true marks of success. I enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting people who have interesting stories to tell. I must admit, I’m not too great at small-talk but I’m always up for an interesting and exciting conversation, particularly over a beer.

I’m not a fan of the all-inclusive pamper traveling, though I realize that there is a time and place for everything. Instead I like to be immersed in culture, experience local customs, and meet locals in all the various cities that I visit.

Music is a big part of my life. Electronic music, particularly trance, tech house, and electro, are my favourites, but I also enjoy Jazz, Rock, and Choral Music.

I'm interested in meeting people, especially people who like to have fun and enjoy life in the same way that I do.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to look at life as a whole slew of choices. I can choose to write this "personal philosophy" profile, or I can choose to watch some TV. In the same way, I can choose to be happy in life and explore, and I can choose to find a job and settle down.
Restlessness of spirit is something that should be embraced, and I hope to continue life as an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a bit around Europe and met a few people here in Vancouver. I'm interested in meeting others and making sure they get the best experience in Vancouver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been one one CouchSurfing get-together over a bowl of Vietnamese Noodle Soup (Pho) here in Vancouver. The people seemed really fun. I also couchsurfed a bit in Europe and found that it's a great way to meet others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved traveling down the Mekong River in Laos by slow boat. I'd recommend it to anyone who has the chance to do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Too many people try to follow a path they think will fit their personality before they truly get to know themselves. Try to find out who you are; spend time on this task and things will be a lot easier.
