About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to use my time and money more efficiently, to explore my surroundings in the most satisfying way!

ABOUT ME

Hmm, what to say. I'm Julian, I'm 33, and I'd like to see the world. I don't know where my life is gonna bring me, I don't know what I'm gonna do in the future, all I know is that I would like to experience this planet as much as I can. How I will make this happen I do not know yet, but I am sure it'll work somehow. When I have the time and money, I like to come around, I like to see places, learn things, and meet people. Sometimes though, you cant avoid being settled somewhere, like now, working on my bachelor degree in Communication. But even then, I try to use at least parts of my time to learn new things. Just started playin Ukulele and Ultimate Frisbee! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Not sure if you can call this a philosphy, and also its not very special, but my main goal for my life is that, in the end, I will be happy with what I have done. We all only get one life, why wasting it with money and sercurity? Why keep being stuck at the place you were born your whole life, and getting sucked into the general dissatisfaction of the Western society? Why not using your life as intensively as you can, why not taking certain risks in order to make experiences you'll never forget again? The one thing that scares me (besides tomatoes) is the thought of lying in my bed in 60 years, reflecting my life, being disappointed and wanting to turn back time, because it was just average.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well i have mostly participated by sleeping on some "strangers" couches and getting to know them in their home surroundings. I really enjoyed every single experience, but always wanted to give something back, which I could not do for a long time due to the places I was staying at! But a few months ago I hosted my first guests, and it was great, I enjoyed every minute, and I wanna do it again, and again, and again! So be my guest!
