About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to connect with many people from many different cultures. Everyone has a unique set of circumstances that makes them who they are. I believe that part of living a fulfilled life is being exposed to and appreciating different cultures and peoples.

ABOUT ME

I love people and I love to interact with different kinds of people. I have a strong desire to see every part of this world (though I feel that this will be impossible in one lifetime). I love new things and I always find myself doing something new. Most times these new things are things that I never thought I would ever do. I have aspirations to become a professional bowler, the operator of a social service organization, and a family man; I will probably only achieve two of the three.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that I have been blessed with a higher level of understanding that aids me in achieving my goal: liberating the oppressed. I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilled life and it is my responsibility to assist those individuals that I come in contact with in any way that I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to offer my couch and my energy to the individuals of the CS2 project in order to help unite people worldwide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted CSers from Europe and Asia and surfed in the US. I look forward to surfing out of the country and hosting to further connect with humanity.

Interests

I love, love, love bowling. I also love hiking in the mountains and canyons, going to music concerts, eating out, drinking/dancing, and having conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jonathan Kozol's book Savage Inequalities. I listen to all types of music, literally. I love comedy movies. My favorite movie of all time would have to be The Temptations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a bowler bowl a 300 game; I saw two guys actually pin the tail on the donkey from about 8 feet away; I saw the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon; I meditated at a Buddhist temple; I heard Maya Angelou speak.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am still thinking about this one...
