About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find my way back home.

ABOUT ME

I'm 30 now, older than I like. I'm in Pennsylvania now, which is way farther north than I ever imagined I would be, but like a fungus, it's starting to grow on me.

I go to school here, which I also am kinda starting to like. I was in the military for most of my youth, and it both ruined and defined me, I owe it a lot to who I am today, but I can also still be a bit bitter about who it made me, since I'm not really as cool as all these other cool people my age. They're super cool.

All in all, I'm not a total weirdo or anything. That pretty much sums it up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience ever in Dublin, when I joined a group of CSers at a pub. I was stunned by how easily they welcomed me into the group and ended up having a fantastic time. It was a good start.

Interests

People and their stories... Anything that floats... Music and all its consequences.. Oh, and zombies... Good beer. Good beer while talking about zombies. Fun conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I listen to all types of music, but I adore alt-country bands. Anything that can rock hard and also includes a banjo is phenomenal. And most indie is alright with me.

Books- There are some books that are so amazing I just want to eat them.

I'm still in love with comic books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have various bits of knowledge on a range of topics, most of them obscure and useless. I'm a student of the Middle East, and love to talk about Arab culture, language and history. I love discussing social issues, particularly as they relate to cities and how they develop. Also I can help you prepare a Zombie Preparedness Plan (ZPP) for your household, so that you'll be ready for the next outbreak.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Iraq, Ireland, Lebanon, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
