About Me

After 4 and a half years in a "life changing" journey my girlfriend and I had in Asia, we returned overland from Hong-Kong to Israel and lived for several months on a permaculture farm. There I had a good time to reflect on my life so far. Since we both find traveling amazing, we have adopted it as a way of life.
6 years in the urban swamp of Tel-Aviv have past while I studied Photography in an art school, thinking of our next journey.
I realized the most significant journey is going to be over water so I started to study the trades of the sea. I got a skipper license, practiced celestial navigation and even tried to work in a shipyard for a while.

Hopefully I'll be able to make this life style come true soon

PHILOSOPHY

Borrowed from the philosophy of the Nomads:

Drink only when you're thirsty,
eat only when you're hungry
and ride your camel only when you're tired.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only good ones, Mostly amazing ones.

Interests

Music is a big focus in my life, so from listening, to playing and everything in between. Any time is a good time for Music.

"Don't play what's there, play what's not there."
-Miles Davis

Other than that, with learning how to sail the seas, a whole new world has opened to me. I guess we won't stay long on the shore. In addition to that I'd say that the following things tingle my curiosity buds more than others (not in any particular order):

-Watching films from all over the world, old and new
-Chess theory and playing it too
-DIY anything
-Homemade chemistry experiments
-Alternative printing
-Post-modern and eastern philosophy
-Anthropology and sociology
-Riding my bicycle anywhere
-Sharing ideas with others
-Eco-building and gardening

Music, Movies, and Books

Can't write all the books I like. Usually there's one in my bag to keep me occupied.

well music...ah, almost anything goes (depending on what time it is), but as a guy named Martin Mull once put it: "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote this whole profile in one go (not even that!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to learn almost anything. I can share my own traveling experiences and knowledge in photography, permaculture, anthroposophy or other words that have more than 10 letters in them. Also, I can teach how to throw a stone up to the sky and make it come back to the ground.
