About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a Nomad

ABOUT ME

Rooting myself in these foggy hills until Summer rolls on by again.

PHILOSOPHY

One's approach to life should be flexible, able to shift from the goal-driven to the meandering, from the creative to the critical, and from the microscopic to the cosmic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lying in a grassy meadow, contemplating the nearby Aso-San, its signal of steam, a reminder of imminent eruption and its awesome power to extinguish me at any moment.

Extreme landscapes of Death Valley. Overwhelming insignificance as you stare across valley. Eons upon eons, massive tectonic and atmospheric forces shape it: cracked by heat, sheared by wind, crushed by quakes, and whittled by rain.

Trekking around the Annapurna mountains. The trail takes you through lush misty valleys, forests of sal and fir, and spectacular mountain landscapes.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Denmark, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Uzbekistan

Countries I’ve Lived In
