I am Aart and I am enjoying life a lot. I love creating and listening to music, the nature and meeting new people.
I'm an open minded guy and interested in what makes you going.

On top of this I love to travel. In 2011 I went to Scandinavia to see the northen light. During my trip i stayed at many couches and I enjoyed it a lot.
In March 2016 I went snowboarding in Austria with a friend for a almost a month. And in August 2016 I went traveling through Indonesia with my wife for almost 6 weeks.

Since oktober 2015 I've been married with Elisa, the best wife I can imagine. A very happy cheerful lady with a big and contagious smile. She also loves traveling. She has visist Ghana at age 18 to do some voluntery work and later visited Suriname, Australia. And ofcourse Indonesia and many places in Europe with me :-).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By offering a couch. Why? I think this concept works really good. It stands out from a commercial trip: Meeting people who live in the city you explore, so you get to know the inside information from locals, meet the culture for real.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS alot during my trip in Scandinavia and since i've been back a couple of people used my couch. I's always nice to meet new travelers and show them around.
