CURRENT MISSION

Hello. I arrived from England 2 weeks ago, spent about 10 days in the rockies in BC and have just got into Seattle, where I bought myself a little travelling van. I hope to get all around the west half of the US over the next couple of months

ABOUT ME

I'm 27, I love getting out and seeing the world while I can, so I'm currently ceasing an opportunity to have a big American roadtrip before I'm tied down with responsibilities. I have great friends and a lovely big family but like to get out of my routine, see new things, meet new people and expand my world!

PHILOSOPHY

Simply put I believe that as long as I'm happy with how I spend my days and stick to my principles, all good things will happen and every decision I make will be the right one for me and everyone else.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently just surfing and couches and picked up some rideshares but would love to host when I return home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some friends I met when travelling in NZ put me in touch with a house of students in Wellington who hosted couch surfers. I had an amazing experience, I met some great people, attended some awesome jam sessions and made some lifelong friends, one of whom I'm visting right now in Seattle! Since then I have surfed a couple of couches and each has been a great experience, and have met some very interesting people.

Intereses

Love music, from getting to gigs to plugging in the earphones and watching the world go by in slow motion. I love festivals, films, roadtripping, travelling of any sort, comedy, reading, any sport as long as I'm not being thrashed too badly. I also like anything outdoors from kayaking to hiking to cycling to camping etc.

I like to have a drink and breakdown barriers with friends and strangers alike, love to roadtrip and love to travel.

Música, películas y libros

Music - I like bits of everything but for roadtripping I like to contrast between nice thoughtful folky stuff like Fleet foxes, Mumford and sons etc to more anthemic rock like The killers or kings of Leon, also like lots of oldies too.
Movies, too many to mention but recent films I liked were Rust and Bone and untouchable.. I love fight club, the matrix, donnie darko, deer hunter.

Books - East of Eden, is my current all time fave, also like Sidharta and Narcissus and goldmund by Herman Hesse, and love the simple good message of the Alchemist.

Anything from hiking the odd mountain, to walking around the Victoria Falls, to stroking a 15 month old lion.

Not sure what I can teach, other than maybe how to fix a bike, improve your pool game etc. Would love to learn a little more about climbing, photography, and just generally understand some different cultures and ways of doing things. Anything your willing to teach, I'm happy to learn!
