Overview
About Me
I am a mom of two, a wife, and a musician. I am blessed to fill my days with hybrid-homeschooling my children and working as a choir director and Director of Music Ministries at a Presbyterian Church.
PHILOSOPHY
To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose our feelings is to risk exposing our true self.
To place your ideas and dreams before the crowd is to risk loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try at all is to risk failure.
But risk we must, because the greates hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The man, the woman who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing,
Is nothing.
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent one week couchsurfing in the south of France and really had a blast.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had great hosts in France and even got to celebrate a couple of Birthdays in Switzerland in the mountains...sleeping in the hay is actually really comfortable!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Birthed two children. Childbirth happens all the time, but it is quite a miraculous thing.
Teach, Learn, Share
One quote that I like to share with every one is the following by Gustave Flaubert "It is the string that makes the collar, not the pearls." I believe that people can share their talents without wearing them on their foreheads.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vocal coaching, piano lesson, or local baked goods.
