ABOUT ME

This will make a topic for a long conversation that perhaps we will some day have. And, it takes time and effort to update your profile. So all the sections below were written when I started using couchsurfing. Now I am currently living in Sheffield (UK), for 2 years. And yes, whatever my next step will be, is another conversation.

I was born in Galicia (region), specifically in Lugo (an unknown city that must have something especial for this to happen: http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2013/06/04/Pilot-diverts-Spanish-flight-for-historical-tour/UPI-95991370363440/?spt=hs&or=on ) and I moved to Madrid to study Environmental Sciences. I usually have a full time schedule, with rights and duties (travelling, dancing, working, dancing, hiking/trekking in natural reserves, out/in-door swimming, biking instead of depending on public transport, going to concerts (Enriqe Iglesias x2, Texas'13, MiguelBosé'12, Shakira'11, 2010: Joaquin Sabina x2 (Lugo and Madrid), U2, The Cranberries, Madonna... Sting'06, Robbie Williams, Melendi, Jarabe de Palo, Amaral, Joaquin Sabina (forever Sabina), Pereza...). &festivals (DeCode, Noroeste Rock, Rock in río Madrid, summercase madrid, Secret Garden Festival England...) And some voluntary work in WWF-Adena, Friends of the Earth and some time ago (when I was less estressed) in Red Cross Spain

The power of now: You are closer to happiness when you concentrate on one single thing and that thing corresponds to what you are doing at that moment (so easy to understand but so difficult to do it)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

1st of all, if I don´t answer a message, it is because 1) I get lost in the middle of the jungle of messages that sometimes I received and, 2) I have to admit it, also because I´m a bit lazy for using social networks and technology.

I would like to help to make CS Project bigger, and to make people (who don´t believe in the idea about hosting or/and helping foreign/unknown people) understand it can be possible and no so rare, always under precautional measures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was when I met a girl in Edinburgh. I went to Edinburgh for a weekend to the Fringe Festival 2010, so I wrote some people to meet there. She spent with me the afternoon-evening. Nice company Joahnna!!

Then I have several experiences, and in the last years, I did not have many.

I like a lot of different music styles

About movies, as time goes by, I like more and more comedies, rather than movies that make you cry (It is enough with the every-day news). Although I have to admit than in the last years I´ve been disconnected from "movieland", so I have no idea about how is going on that world. The same happens to me with series, I avoid conversations about series because each time I heard about "how I met your mother", "sex and the city", "barniee" etc, etc, etc, I dont know what they are speaking/laughing about. I only know Big Bang Theory, and I sympathize with the characters

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I like this idea, its like a time bank (literal translation from Spanish, so probably the wrong word, it is like a exchange trading that not involves money, but the time you used for achieving a service or product).I´m good at Galician, SpanishI can help in oriental dancing and environmental topics (my thesis is about the pollution under municipal landfills and how clayey soils can naturally attenuat it)
