Looking to meet people around Modica and Ragusa :)

I recently purchased 21 hectares of a river nature oasis here in the Irmino valley in Modica. It's a paradise, and I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to give this place a new direction. My vision is to transform it into a sanctuary for those undergoing life transitions, facing difficult situations, or seeking clarity in their lives. A whole valley to journey through the mysteries and landscapes of our inner Being—a place to rest, recharge, and reorient. A first draft of our website is now live at www.il-nido.it.

Over the past ten years, life has taken me in many different directions—from university to the fast-paced startup world, to experiencing burnout and changing the entire trajectory of my life. I moved away from my hometown, stepped out of a ten-year relationship, and spent two years living in a yoga and meditation center, immersing myself in many months of silence and contemplation. Six years ago, I felt quite lost, depressed, and curious, driven by a strong inner urge to rediscover "who I am". Today, I find myself with much more inner peace and some answers, yet also more questions and a renewed enthusiasm to create the spaces and places I want to see more of in this world. I've become very active in local community projects and political activism. Every day, I strive to live from the heart to my best capacities, seeking and creating with joy and connection. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities life has given me, and I want to use them to serve and share with others.

A few words to describe myself:
Pragmatic and direct. Wild, goofy, and devotional. Playfull. Nature enthusiast. Passionate about artistic expression, music, and dancing between solitude and community life. I love sailing and adventures, bonfires, glitter, magic, meditation, the body, movement, simplicity, and silence.

I canoed down the Yukon river for three weeks with two couchsurfers that I had met that summer in 2012, and have been a member ever since. Im immensely grateful for all the open doors and kind beings along the way. Makes me keep up my patience and optimism for where this world could also be heading.

Living one year in Sitka, Alaska. Climbing the pre-Himalayan mountains over 5000m in Tibet. Spending many months in silent retreat.

meditation and yoga philosophy, vegan cooking, lots of wilderness survival skills stuff :), somatic body work, music (we have some instruments on site), campfire, laughs, stories, a ear to listen, and lots of time to dance and play and create. Knowledge in building things/ crafting, entrepreneurship, holocracy and many other fun project and communications tools...
