About Me

I'm passionate about the world - from food to music, from cultures to landscapes - and I love learning more and more about it be it through traveling, studying, meeting people from different places and backgrounds.

I love traveling alone, I feel by doing so we're more open to meet people and have interesting and inspiring conversations.

I'm a social introvert who likes to meet new people but recharges by spending time alone, meditating, drawing, or just watching life goes by.

I'm definitely not a "party hard" person. I'd rather spend time enjoying a glass of wine with a good conversation than going out to parties and listening to loud music - I love live music though, so would probably enjoy exploring the local music scene.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think couchsurf is a great way to experience local cultures and meet interesting people.

I cannot deny it's also a way to travel on a budget - my case - but for me it's a two-way thing. I'm learning from the host and vice-versa.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, all kinds, as long as it's good music. I'm always curious to learn and listen to local and regional music.

My favorite books are One Hundred Years of Solitude by Garcia Marquez, and Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a month solo cycling trip without any previous experience. Only on the first very steep hill I realized my city bike with only 21 gears was not really the best one for the circuit I had chosen. Still I completed the 1000km - probably pushing my bike uphill for 200km or so. Totally worth it!
